Magic of Mediation

There must be some magic behind, when people who couldn’t come together in conflict resolution suddenly find best solutions possible themselves. They succeed even though the mediator is not a desicion maker. He even does not make proposals for solutions or suggest which solution should be taken. How can that work?

Jean Counet, a film director who himself joined mediation courses, perfectly could show that it is not arguing bringing the solution.  Peter and Linda, a couple in divorce, row abaout a mobile phone,, that should be a fathers present for his daughter. Mother took it away for several reasons. Father is threatening the mother and wants her to force to leave that phone with his daughter. This was the dispute they tried to resolve with mediation.
